Let's make a difference together by speaking words of life.

Declare the Opposite

Declare the Opposite - I am Teachable sticker award in Kimberly's hand

We put labels on kids all the time.

High Energy

Let’s change the labels to declare the opposite for their life.

Sometimes we see things in our life or in the lives of our children or students that we don’t like or don’t want there.  Rather than complain, argue, pass shame, or get frustrated, begin to declare the opposite of what you see over them.

Declare truth.

If you see self-sabotage, declare life.
If you see self-hatred, declare beauty and acceptance.
If you see self-harm, declare health and healing.
If you sense strife, declare peace in your home.
If you feel depression, declare joy, laughter, and fun in your home.  Smile a lot. Get up, move your body, dance away.
If you hear, “I can’t do this!” declare ability, knowledge, and strength.

Your words are powerful.  Use them to “call into being that which does not exist.”  This truth is from the Bible, Romans 4:17.

Help your child declare truth over themselves using the “Declaration Treasures” found in the “I Am Loved Journal” for KIDS, pages 24-29.

Declarations in I am Loved Kids Journal- Declare the opposite

We want to hear how you are using your words to call out what you do not yet see over your children, your students, and your spouse.  We want to declare these truths along with you.

Leave a comment below and let me know.  Remember, share as much detail as possible in your reply.  So many amazing moms, dad, grandparents, and teachers come here for insight and motivation, and your story may help someone else have a meaningful breakthrough.

Important:   Share your thoughts and ideas directly in the comments.  Keep your comments positive, as no bad attitudes are allowed here.  Nor is judgment or criticism allowed.  We are here to cheer each other on in this amazing parenting journey together.  Links to other posts, videos, etc. will be removed.

It’s important that you hear this: Mom, you are a great mom who is more than enough!  Dad, you are a present, faithful dad!  Grandparent, we are grateful for you spoiling and loving on our kids.  Teacher, your patience and care for our children matters. And most importantly, your words spoken to and over your children matter. Declare truth.

With enormous love,
