Let’s Be Friends!

Let's make a difference together by speaking words of life.

Got a Vision for Your Future?

Have you ever said, “Will I ever stop changing diapers?” “When will I finally sleep the whole night without a little one waking me up?” “Will my son ever be able to read well? He’s really struggling.”

Sometimes in our day to day, doing all the things, we become short sighted and forget about the future. Our eyes are on the right here, right now, and that is all we can see. The sun rises. The sun sets. And we just get by.

It’s time to renew our perspective so that we keep our eyes on the future and the good that will come. We need a vision for the future.

In this podcast episode, I’ll share four areas where we need a vision for the future so that we don’t live with a short sighted perspective. Instead, we look toward what can be achieved, how we will grow, and who we and our children will become.

  1. When our children struggle in school (minute 3:20)
  2. Friendships (minute 8:27)
  3. Your child’s behavior (minute 10:28)
  4. Your health (minute 14:08)

Tell me in what other areas of your life are you keeping mindful of the future, not just living in the moment? Tell me by leaving a comment below or by sending a voice message using the recording feature found one the main page of speaklifebadges.com.  I’d love to hear from you.

Your words have the power to “call into being that which does not yet exist.”  You may not see it yet, but it can be.  Even before it can be seen, God calls it as though it is already done.  God speaks of non-existent things as if they already existed.  That’s being future minded. (Romans 4:17 and Proverbs 18:21)

So what truth do you need to speak over your children, your spouse, your family members, your colleagues today?  Believe the best about them even before you see it.
